MISSION STATEMENT
LE PAPILLON ACADEMY purpose is to educate and prepare men and women with a passion for barbering. We are here to train men and women for a challenging and rewarding career. Our mission is to provide optimum educational opportunities and guidance in the field of barbering. With a space to cultivate and instruct students in barbering with hands-on techniques and classroom theory so that, our graduates will be ready for a hands-on position of employment in the Barber industry. The Barber School offers uniquely modern, innovative and high-end techniques to prepare the students to cater to the needs of the customers. We are committed to revolutionizing each students grooming routine by providing top quality training.
INTRODUCTION/ ACADEMY HISTORY
OWNERSHIP/ GOVERNING BODY
Patrick Papillon has 30-year of experienced as a Master Barber and he is the proud owner of LE PAPILLON Barber School and Barber Shop in West Island of Montreal. He has received his Master Barber and his Barber Educator certificates at the Jocelyne Bouchard Academy. He has learned the traditional barber techniques and skills.
Patrick Papillon is the visionary and founder of Le Papillon academy and barbershop, which opened in March 2019. In August 2020, The Barber School will emerge in a newly renovated location in housing state of the art equipment and excellent products.
ACCREDITATION LICENSING
Patrick Papillon is accredited with the Jocelyne Bouchard Academy, Laval, Quebec.
STAFF ADMINISTRATION
Miss Yazmine Papillon, Chief Executive Administrator, a Graduate of Gordon Robertson Beauty Academy, 3 years administrative experience in the Barber School industry.
ACADEMY OUTCOMES ASSESSMENT 2020
This School Standard, as an institution must assess the achievements of its programs and students because of pass rates on examinations for licensure (70% min.), placement rates for those who took the licensing exam (60% min.) and program completion rates (50% min.).


SCHOOL GOAL
OUR AIM IS TO:
1) Produce skilled and knowledgeable professionals who will be prepared with the necessary fundamentals to enter the Barber Industry.
2) Create the best learning environment available by emphasizing short-term progress, individualized attention, progressive teaching methods, and relevant equipment of βhands-onβ education.
3) Assist each student in achieving his or her own professional aspirations by helping to match these aspirations with existing personal, technological and economic conditions.
4) To assist graduates in there employment of a barbershop. To prepare them with the technics of cutting and grooming. In addition, to maintain a placement office to carry on such assistance.
5) Respond to the requests of business, industry and other agencies for specific training needs, education programs, to evaluate and revise programs when appropriate.
6) Produce a reasonable profit, which will insure growth and improvement in the students, staff, facilities and equipment.
Becoming a barber will be an absolutely exciting new opportunity, the freedom to become your own stylist or barber is an experience that has no comparison; working for yourself, networking with people at so many levels, developing an excellent customer service, grooming technics, how to brand yourself, cleaning and sterilizing technics, how to update and maintain client records? In addition,how to order supplies?
ENROLLMENT

BARBERING 36 COURSES (3 HOURS EACH DAY) β’ 108 HOURS
Morning or Evening Classes – (all schedules include a 30 Minute Lunch Break)
Duration of classes is for 3 month, 3 times per week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
COST: 2500$ + Taxes
BARBER PERFECTING CLASSES (2 CLASSES) β’ ONE ON ONE
Perfecting course given to hairdressers or Barbers that already have a base experience but want to fine-tune their Barber skills
COST: 350$ + Taxes for 3 hours classes
